Families Helping Families of Iowa is a non-profit organization dedicated to caring for Iowa's children in foster care. We provide three types of program services: Essentials, Educational, and Celebrations! Our mission is to help guide these children and their families and give these vulnerable children the love they need and their caregivers the support they need to be successful! There are close to 7,000 children in foster care in Iowa. 145 in Johnson County, and over 1,000 children in foster care in the surrounding areas.
